Art Education Consultant and Project Author: Museum Without Walls, Museo de Arte de El Salvador, San Salvador, El Salvador. Develop a proposal that redefines the museum institution as a space without physical borders that travels directly to communities to offer a free public service of contributing to the enhancement of cultural and educational development.

July
Trainer for Public Schools’ Teacher Trainers, FEPADE, San Salvador, El Salvador. Train 70 teacher trainers from the Ministry of Education and FEPADE in the inclusion of visual arts through language in the classroom to promote expression and individual thought in elementary level students in all Salvadoran public schools.

February – June
Lecturer, Experimental Creative Design, Design School, Universidad Don Bosco, Soyapango, El Salvador. Stimulate and develop critical and creative thinking skills among incoming freshmen students through a series of theoretical-practical projects dealing with eco design, toy design, and the use of craft techniques in contemporary design.

Art Education Consultant and Project Author: Volume 8 for the Lecturer’s Specialization in language in first and second semesters of elementary educational institutions, FEPADE, San Salvador, El Salvador. Develop an experimental program that presents visual arts through language to promote and develop individual thought and expression for elementary level students in all Salvadoran elementary public schools. All lessons in the proposal encourage the respect for the environment and the use of low cost local resources as a substitute for traditional art materials. This project is part of the Ministry of Education’s “Plan 20-21” educational restructuring plan.

Project Author: Art Impacts, Museo de Arte de El Salvador, San Salvador, El Salvador. Develop a two stage project consisting of introductory arts training seminars targeted to 780 low resource public elementary school teachers and their students in the most socially vulnerable communities. The second stage consisted of 32 professional artists going to 8 of these communities to strengthen and reaffirm the social and personal values of 480 students through a series of workshops.

Collaborator for Art Media, Costa Rica’s Central American Contemporary Art Magazine.

August – October
Project Author: Professional Development Program for Central American Museums, Museo de Arte de El Salvador in collaboration with Centro Cultural de España de El Salvador, San Salvador, El Salvador. Develop a series of workshops for 90 museum professionals in Museology, Museography, and Collections’ Handling to enhance the professional quality of Central American Museums that work directly with cultural heritage pieces.
